Horsies

So I went to Broadway for the first time last night. I won tickets by raising the most money for my school's show, and I took one of my friends to see Equus, majorly because she wanted to see Daniel Radcliffe naked. Which he was. I won't spoil it for you, but I did like the show. The storyline was totally weird (kid gets sexual with a horse, then stabs it and five others in the eyes), but it was really cool to watch. The set was very simple, but whoever thought of it is totally brilliant. There were four pillars on a center platform (which rotated) that were rearranged to make tables, chairs, ward cells, haybales, everything. It really was masterfully done.

I had a nice time, and I think she did too.

I Can't Believe It

I have much to say, but frankly, I don't know how to say it. I think my favorite comedian, Brian Regan, sums it up quite nicely.

He was talking about peanut butter and jelly being in the same bottle, and then progresses to a "no cleanup luncheon" where it actually is in a squeeze bottle with a few croutons. Mmm. Time to go enjoy life some more.

Customer Disservice

So, after a year and a half at the A&P I finally got to work U-Scan today, our self-checkout thing. Instead of standing in one spot ringing up some old lady's groceries all day, I got to stand in one spot and watch up to four old ladies get mad at the computer while they try to ring up their own groceries all day. Ah, customer service.

Space and Time

My 1/4 TB external hard drive is currently at 94.07% capacity. No, only 5.154% of the that is porn (joking). It's funny, I've got so much media in terms of music and videos (TV, movies, etc.) but I can never find the time to listen to/watch any them. I must have about a day of music (24 hours worth, that is), and a good week (167 hours worth) of video that remain unused on my hard drive, simply because I have no time. Yet strangely I can find the time to blog...

I got a haircut (which one?) *punch in face*. I'm currently not doing homework. And by currently I mean ever. I do enough work at school, I'm not doing it anymore. Especially these frigging debates in Gov glass. Election's over, guys. I hate politics. I really do. Imagine: everyone arguing over meaningless bullshit that they are not going to be able to change. I wouldn't mind it so much if people had a sense of reason about them, but most people are just fucking stupid. Anyway. Rant for the day is done.

Day Off

I had a day to reflect on stuff.

Firstly, I need a haircut.
Secondly, I NEED A HAIRCUT.
Thirdly, I should probably do my homework more often.
Fourthly, I hate my job. I haven't worked in weeks, and having to go back to make money is going to deeply cut into what little free time I have to do other necessary things, such as homework and volunteer hours.
Fifthly, I want to act for the rest of my life. Not as a living, mind you, but it's a wonderful hobby.
Sixthly, I don't know what I'm going to do for the next few months when I'm away from all my closest friends in the theater district of my life.
Seventhly, I love you.
